LocalCrush Child Protection Standards

LocalCrush is committed to keeping its service free from content and conduct that harms or exploits children.

LocalCrush strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

1. Scope, Age Requirement, and Definitions

These standards apply to every LocalCrush user and to all profiles, messages, images, videos, audio, links, account activity, and interactions on or facilitated through LocalCrush.

LocalCrush is an adults-only service. Users must be at least 18 years old. Minors may not create or use an account, and adults may not create or operate an account on behalf of a minor. We may restrict, suspend, or close an account if we reasonably believe that a user is under 18 or has misrepresented their age.

For this policy, a child is anyone under 18. CSAE includes content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, grooms, traffics, coerces, sextorts, or otherwise endangers a child.

CSAM includes any visual depiction, including altered or computer-generated imagery, of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct, as defined by applicable law.

2. Prohibited Content and Behavior

LocalCrush does not allow:

creating, requesting, uploading, accessing, possessing, storing, sharing, selling, or linking to CSAM;
grooming a child or requesting sexual content, conversation, or contact from a child;
threatening, coercing, blackmailing, or sextorting a child;
sexualizing children in text, profiles, images, video, audio, role-play, illustrations, animation, or generated content;
promoting, arranging, facilitating, or profiting from child sexual exploitation or trafficking;
sharing a child's identifying or location information for abusive or exploitative purposes;
directing people to websites, groups, accounts, or services that enable CSAE or CSAM; or
evading reporting tools, moderation, account restrictions, or other safety measures.

Attempts, requests, offers, encouragement, and facilitation are also prohibited.

3. Reporting a Concern

Suspected CSAE, CSAM, grooming, or another child safety concern can be reported:

through the “Report” or “Feedback” function inside LocalCrush; or
by email at eonoriode29@gmail.com.

Where safe and lawful, include the relevant account name, content reference, approximate date, and a short description.

Do not download, copy, forward, or redistribute suspected CSAM when submitting a report. If a child may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement.

4. Action Taken by LocalCrush

We review child safety reports and apparent violations as promptly as reasonably possible. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, LocalCrush may:

remove or restrict access to content;
limit account features;
suspend or permanently terminate accounts;
take reasonable measures against repeated violations;
preserve relevant records when permitted or required by law;
report apparent CSAM or child exploitation to NCMEC, another authorized child protection organization, and/or law enforcement when required; and
cooperate with valid legal requests and child safety investigations.

We do not return suspected CSAM to a reporting user or knowingly redistribute it.

5. Legal Compliance

LocalCrush complies with applicable child safety, mandatory reporting, record-preservation, privacy, and data protection laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where it operates. We review these standards and our safety practices as the service, risks, and legal requirements change.
